FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I reserve Blue Roof?
We offer direct booking and payments through Stripe. The booking page has up to date availability. Feel free to email us with any questions.
What types of stays is Blue Roof best for?
Blue Roof is ideal for family gatherings, friend getaways, retreats, wedding parties, birthdays, bachelor and bachelorette weekends, and other group celebrations.
What is included with a stay?
Guests have exclusive access to the lodge and surrounding outdoor spaces during their stay. Blue Roof is designed for gathering, with spacious common areas, a wrap-around porch, forest surroundings, and plenty of room for groups to relax, celebrate, and spend time together.
Can you help us plan the weekend?
Absolutely. Whether you want a private chef, catering, bartending, event rentals, local recommendations, or help pulling everything together, we can help make it a whole thing.
Do you offer event planning or concierge services?
Yes. We can help coordinate catering, bartending, rentals, local activities, and other services to make your stay as simple—or as elaborate—as you’d like.
Can I bring my own caterer, bartender, or rental company?
Absolutely. Outside vendors are welcome with advance approval. We can also recommend trusted local partners for catering, bartending, rentals, and other event services.
What is your cancellation policy?
If your plans change, reach out—we’ll do our best to help and may be able to rebook your dates.
Are events allowed?
Yes. Blue Roof is designed for gatherings, including wedding parties, birthdays, retreats, and bachelor/bachelorette weekends. All events must be approved in advance, and event fees may apply depending on the size and nature of the gathering.
Can visitors come during our stay?
Yes, but the total number of people on the property—including overnight guests and visitors—must stay within your approved guest count.
Are pets allowed?
Yes, pets are welcome. We ask that pets stay off furniture and that owners clean up after them so everyone can enjoy the space.
Is smoking allowed?
Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside the house or near doors and windows. Guests who smoke are welcome to do so near the outdoor fire pit area, and we simply ask that all cigarette butts and smoking materials are cleaned up afterward.
Is Blue Roof suitable for children?
Yes. Blue Roof is family-friendly and welcomes guests of all ages. As with any large property, children should be supervised by their accompanying adults.
Are there quiet hours?
Yes. Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. We want guests to have a great time while also being respectful of our neighbors and the surrounding area.
Can we have a campfire?
Yes. Fires are permitted in the outdoor fire pit when local conditions allow. Fire restrictions and burn bans may affect availability, so be sure to check current conditions before your stay.
Is there parking for large groups?
Yes. Parking is available on-site, but vehicles must remain in designated parking areas and should not block driveways or neighboring properties.
Is there anything special we should know about the house?
Blue Roof is on a septic system, so only toilet paper should be flushed. We also ask guests to help care for the home by returning furniture to its original location and avoiding decorations that are difficult to clean up.
Do you offer early check-in or late check-out?
When scheduling allows, early check-in and late check-out may be available for an additional fee. Please inquire before your stay.
Is Blue Roof available year-round?
Yes. Blue Roof is designed for all-season stays, from summer escapes and fall weekends to winter ski trips and spring gatherings.
