Suntop Fire Lookout
Amazing views of Rainier and the surrounding area. You can drive nearly to the top. The walk is the last 1/4 mile or so. Summer access only, once it is snow free.

Crystal Mountain Scenic Gondola
A Mt. Rainier Gondola ride will take you over 2,400 vertical feet to the summit, where you will find expansive views of Mt. Rainier and the beautiful Cascade Range. Just a few short steps away from the Summit House, Washington’s highest-elevation restaurant, with Tower 16 just below, you'll have plenty of dining choices to suit your appetite. Dress warm, wear shoes with good traction, and we'll see you at the top!

Beaufitul forest, with a waterfall as an easy stopping point. The trail continues to the ridge top. Super fun and surrounded by giant trees.

Franklin Ghost Town
Follow a gentle old railroad grade into the coal-mining ghost town of Franklin, along the Green River near Black Diamond. It’s an easy walk up to the coal cart and sealed mine shaft. Follow the narrow footpath beyond to discover the powerhouse foundation and cemetery.
